Here’s how to engage them:

- Welcome to the FloridaRAMA Experience!
- There is no right or wrong way to experience FloridaRAMA. You can travel in any direction and view the installations in any order.
- Nothing inside FloridaRAMA is random. Everything is where it is for a reason. It all ties together. There are also several games and mysteries to explore.
- The Mermaid Star Motel has a dedicated team of employees in pink vests available to answer questions, provide clues, and give directions.
- To further deepen your understanding of our mysteries and receive valuable clues, consider gamifying your experience by adding on a scavenger hunt. Ask a team member for our current game menu.
- Know before you go
- The Mermaid Star Motel is a classic midcentury roadside motel located near the Intersnake 275 S, which is also known as Python Alley.
- Merpeople are an ancient earthbound civilization that traces its heritage back thousands of years in Florida. The Merpeople are keepers of the water, meaning they protect all of Florida’s waters and they can communicate with the natural world, including the elements and animals. Descendants of the Merpeople have assimilated and married into the human world.
- The Interest is a mega corporate conglomerate with not so nice plans for Florida. They control a bunch of other companies operating in all sectors, especially development, infrastructure, tourism and the government. Their aims and practices are highly questionable.
🌴 Florida & FloridaRAMA Facts
- FloridaRAMA opened in 2021, and we’re consistently adding new art and activations so you always have something new to see.
- Our pink vested staff are available to provide you with more information and clues. Don’t hesitate to engage them!
- Florida was first inhabited by Paleo-Indians as early as 14,000 years ago. Extraterrestrials and mystical beasts and beings preceded human inhabitants.
- The first European explorer to arrive in Florida was Spain’s Juan Ponce de León in 1513. He called the peninsula La Pascua Florida in recognition of the verdant landscape. It is legend that Ponce de León was looking for the Fountain of Youth, which he may have found in Florida. At FloridaRAMA we call this magic spring the Fountain of Life or FOL.
- Florida became the twenty-seventh state in the United States on March 3, 1845.
