Celebrate Pop Art at FloridaRAMA Impact Gallery with Warhol Birthday & Pop Art Party 4.0

This August, FloridaRAMA Impact Gallery invites the community to celebrate the bold, colorful world of Pop Art with Warhol Birthday & Pop Art Party 4.0, a free month-long exhibition curated by local artist and curator Luke Heath.

Featuring work from 30 artists, the exhibition pays tribute to the enduring influence of Andy Warhol and the Pop Art movement through contemporary works that explore culture, celebrity, humor and creativity.

The celebration kicks off with a free opening reception on Friday, August 7 from 7-10 PM at FloridaRAMA Impact Gallery in St. Petersburg’s Warehouse Arts District. Guests can enjoy an immersive evening filled with live music, interactive art installations, a community chalk mural, Warhol-inspired screen tests and appearances by cosplayers portraying iconic figures including Andy Warhol, Marilyn Monroe, Elvis Presley, Elizabeth Taylor, Valerie Solanas and members of Starfleet Academy. Guests are encouraged to dress in their favorite Factory-era fashion and become part of the experience.

The exhibition will remain on view through August 31, giving visitors plenty of opportunities to experience the vibrant collection of artwork celebrating one of the most influential art movements of the 20th century.

On Saturday, August 22 from 2-6 PM, the gallery will also host the Super Star Garage Sale, a free event where exhibiting artists will sell original artwork, prints and creative goods directly to the public. It’s a great opportunity to meet local artists and take home one-of-a-kind pieces.

Featured artists: Mark Williams, Rachel Covello, Michelle Lisan, Dorian Alberti, Kostar, Canvas & Clouds, Tim Von Cloedt, Brittany Freemon, Patricia Tierny Moses, Rachel Salazar, Jose Mohammed, Lucky Leroy, Artful Saint, Barb Gerdeman, Chris Van Vooren, Luke Heath, Rachel Salazar, Taylor Victoria, Latonya Hicks, Skye Dolan, Ricky Singh, Scarrie Phillips, The Chandelier Queer, Antonio McDowell, Rachel Stotler, Meriam Gardner, Luci West, Filipe Bergson, Michelle Parasole, Adam Turkel, Andrea Pawlisz, Jason Cripps, Zulu Painter, Luke Heath, Jessica Baird, GWAK, Sunset Custom Framing (Scotty)
